I wanted to provide a quick update on two upcoming public hearings. This Wednesday, July 15th 9am at County Executive’s Office, Civic Center, 421 Montgomery St, 14th Floor, Syracuse the County Executive is holding a public hearing on a local law the legislature passed to implement 12 year term limits on the County Executive and Comptroller positions. If he signs this local law, you will be able to vote on term limits on your November ballot. If you can’t make this public hearing the County Executive scheduled, send your public comments to RyanMcMahon@onondaga.gov or contact his office here.

The second public hearing is by the Legislature’s Environmental Protection Committee to share your comments on Water, Wastewater, and Our Environment in Onondaga County. This public hearing is 6:00pm Tuesday, July 21st at Central Library, located at 447 S Salina St, Syracuse. Written comments should be submitted by email to Legislature@onondaga.gov with the subject line “7.21.26 Public Hearing.”

If you have any questions about these or something else, please contact me.

Thank you.
