For the amount of taxpayer money to be spent on the county executive’s vanity aquarium, taxpayers are being kept in the dark on updates. Where are the designs for the aquarium that were to be released this summer? Where are the updated project costs?
In June, Republican legislators approved a $1.7 million giveaway of taxpayer funds to Cor Development for polluted land. Since then, crickets. You can’t even find the aquarium’s promotional video or the $120,000 so-called “feasibility study” on the county’s website….
